Hickory Creek Mulled Apple Wine

Here’s how we make the perfect fall hot drink.

 

What you’ll need…

1 bottle of Hickory Creek Apple Wine

3 cups of your favorite apple cider (we prefer fresh from a local farmstand)

2 tablespoons of mulling spice blend

What you’ll DO…

  1. In a crockpot or medium size saucepan, combine the HCW Apple Wine with the apple cider. Set the temperature to medium (or high) on the crockpot. If using a stovetop, set it to medium.

  2. Add the mulling spice blend to a tea infuser (cheesecloth pouches work well too). Drop it into the wine/cider blend.

  3. Let the mixture come to a simmer. Stir occasionally.

  4. Once the mixture has reached your desired temperature, reduce heat to low on the crockpot or stovetop.

  5. Ladle into stemmed coffee mugs if you have them. Add a cinnamon stick to spice it up a bit more.

  6. Enjoy!
